moscow is a lovable place - once you know where the fun is
and it differs from one person to another
it my case; i love the season changing
from autumn to winter - the beautiful red and orange hues that cover the nature on one day, the next the world is white...
winter to spring - flowers blooming all over the city, they popped up like mushrooms(?)
and spring to summer - the warm air... finally~!!!
haha
and you got to love the end-of-season sales
i am not a crazy shopaholic girl in moscow (i am one in malaysia, though ^_^)
but end of season sales are ones that i look forward to
i love seeing all those tags with 70% off, 50% off...
and another thing that made me enjoy moscow the most would be the food
it might not seemed that way to certain people
but for me it is
i spent more time cooking in moscow that i do in malaysia
(partly because my mama is a better cook )
and my friends and i seemed to hunt for places to eat whenever we have a little bit of extra cash
it's a surprise what we have found in moscow
you get to eat asian food here - thai, indonesian, korean, japanese
and then there are the middle eastern restaurant
and also indian cuisines
my friends and i have become the hantu of japanese food - my favourite: tempura (one of the japanese restaurants in moscow serves dessert tempura... chooo umaiii~!!!)
i think the first word that comes to people's mind when they hear the word moscow would be - cold
honestly, yes - it is cold
the people and the weather
but it's a lovely place
for those who enjoy history, there are tonnes to learn from this country
and those who loves architecture - the buildings in the city centres will make your jaw dropped in awe
i have another four years to go
although part of me wish to stay in malaysia
when i am moscow
there are so many things i miss about malaysia
first of all - the sun
and then the food
who cannot miss all those delicacy
masak asam pedas daging
cendol pulut
durian
rambutan
gulai lemak gajus
nasi lemak ikan bakar
tembikai
ciku
mangga
i can name all of them
but it would take me half a day to finish this post
i think what i miss most would be - my family
having so many people around me at all times
i have four brother and sisters
so the havoc and chaos that everyone can cause everytime we get together is something that i can never get in moscow
and i miss my mama and bapak
mama who hugs me the most, let me cuddle up next to her
and bapak, who reminds me that everyone has the goofy and childish side
malaysia's my home
to be exact - melaka is my home
moscow... is my second home
hehe
much love,
bahiyahnor
